how to put ip camera with dymanic ip on a web site

Hi there, how can you do the following: i have a ip camera and my provider has a dynamic ip and want to put camera live image on my web site that i do not host on same network.

Answer:

there are several options to get the image to display on to a website.

Typical is to use the cameras RTSP stream to bring the video to the web page. There are a variety of scripts that are available for the RTSP that you can put on your website.

However I am not sure how that will work with a dynamic IP. Typically you need to use a fixed IP address for the camera that you will be displaying on the website. Otherwise every time the IP address changes you will have to change it on the website.
