Fast Lens

A fast lens means having a larger iris (and smaller F-stop). A fast lens gathers and transmits increased light to a security camera. The greater the available light the easier it is for the security camera to be able to get a good, clear and color image. It takes 1.5 times more light to make a color image than it does to create a black and white image.

See F-stop for more details.
