Backlash



Backlash (measured in degrees) is when a PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) camera’s Pan Tilt head cannot stop instantaneously, and is usually caused by excessive looseness in gears, pulleys, or other parts. Seting the programming presets in PTZ surveillance cameras are then rendered ineffectual by Backlash.
