Answer:

This is a good and valid question. I wish I had the answer you are looking for. But I dont. Unfortunately for most CCTV manufacturers they are not building their software platforms to work on Apple / Mac computer.

I am not sure if it is related to the cost or just not seeing that it is a valid need in the marketplace.

It is one reason I have started working with a new company that is at least providing a web based solution that will work with Internet Explorer (which currently does not work on Mac) and soon will work in other browsers. The bigger deal however is being able to access video via cell phones and the iphone in particular.
